She founded The Lead Candidate to explore what makes great scientific leaders and to share honest conversations about career paths, purpose, and impact. Simona brings deep research expertise in gut neuroscience, works at the biotech company Certa as a scientific strategist, and is a passionate presenter on everything from the enteric nervous system to science careers. She’s committed to helping others navigate life in and beyond the lab.
