Today we have a special episode of “The Lead Candidate’ featuring our host Dr Simona Carbone! In January of 2023, Simona was invited to present the keynote address to the Melbourne Hub of the National Youth Science Forum. The National Youth Science Forum is based in Australia. It is a not-for-profit organization that runs a series of programs designed to encourage the passion of young people for science technology and engineering and maths.
She’s sharing how her journey to become a scientist started and some difficult lessons she’s learned along the way.
